Our pellet heating system meets 96% of the Solbadhotel's energy needs, playing a crucial role in reducing CO2 emissions and enhancing energy efficiency.
To promote public transport, we offer our guests the Panorama Card, permitting complimentary use of buses and postbuses across the Lake Thun region.
Continuous reduction of paper, waste and food waste. Our waste is disposed of separately and recycled. We participate in the "United Against Waste" program to minimize food waste.
We engage the local community by providing discounted rates for our wellness area, hiring staff from the region, and collaborating with local suppliers. We meet our guests' desires whenever possible and enchant them with our warm hospitality.
We offer a wide range of jobs and apprenticeships, pursue upright partnerships and take economic profitability as well as environmental and social compatibility to heart when making investments. We also promote the numerous attractive excursion opportunities in our region.
As part of the myclimate "Cause We Care" initiative, we give you the opportunity to make an effective contribution to environmental and climate protection together with us with a voluntary donation.
With CHF 2.00 per overnight stay, you have the opportunity to actively support local climate protection measures. At the same time, selected climate protection projects are promoted and emissions are reduced. Part of the amount is used to support high-quality national and international climate protection projects of the myclimate foundation. The remaining amount will be invested by us in climate protection measures in operational environmental and climate protection projects.

You stay with us and voluntarily make a small contribution to environmental and climate protection. We will double this and put your and our contribution into the hotel's own myclimate "Cause We Care" sustainability fund.
The fund is used to finance local sustainability and climate protection measures. At the same time, the CO2 emissions from your stay are offset by a myclimate carbon offset project.
We have opted for the"Beatenberg-Habkern natural forest reserve" climate protection project in the canton of Bern.
The forest climate protection project supports the implementation and monitoring of a natural forest reserve. The forests can filter pollutants from the air and soil and thus not only contribute to cleaner water but also provide a quiet, undisturbed habitat for animal and plant species.
