The Solbadhotel has been owned by the Hauenstein family since 1998 and is part of the Hauenstein Hotels.
The hotel group comprises three exclusive 4- to 5-star hotels on Lake Thun, accommodation in an idyllic rural setting and six restaurants in the Lake Thun region.
With a total of 234 hotel rooms, suites, apartments and luxury lakeside villas, Hauenstein Hotels is one of the largest hotel groups and employers in the Bernese Oberland. The group of companies is a 100% family-run business. The corporate culture and philosophy was strongly influenced by the first and second generations of the Hauenstein family and further developed by the third generation.
