Every year in the fall, the well-known Justistaler Käseteilet takes place. Farmers who have summered their cows in the Justistal valley come together and share their cheese in proportion to the milk yield of the cows. The cheese is handed out of the "storehouses" around midday and stacked in rows, with older and younger cheeses mixed evenly.

The stacks of cheese are allocated to the farmers by "drawing lots"; they have to agree on a proportionate distribution themselves. A joyful celebration begins before and during the traditional ritual.

The trail continues past the Spycherberg. From there, the impressive, slightly mystical valley floor of the Justistal opens up with a view as far as the Hindersberg alpine hut. At the very end of the valley is the Sichle, a pass crossing that looks like a sickle from a distance and leads west of the Sieben Hengste into the Zulgtal valley to Eriz.
